I got my hands on this book about two months ago and I couldn’t wait to test the recipes. Admittedly I wanted to test them all, but then it would’ve taken me forever to give you guys a review. I’ve been quite excited about this book for a while, mainly because of the lack of West and East African cookbooks that you can find in book stores.
While I was reviewing this book, I broke a scared rule; “Don’t serve your guest recipes you’ve never tested before”. However, I figured my thoughts on the cookbook were more likely to be genuine if I had people to prepare it for and I’d also be able to judge the level of difficulty each recipe has whilst running up and down the kitchen in a frenzy.
